ZEESMAN Founder to Lead Education Foundation

ARTHUR ZEESMAN NAMED PRESIDENT OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY EDUCATION FOUNDATION

ZEESMAN founder to focus on strategic direction and donor programs for LACEF.

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., July 8, 2010 – ZEESMAN, one of the nation’s leading brand strategy and marketing firms, today announced that Arthur Zeesman has been elected as the Los Angeles County Education Foundation’s (LACEF) president. Zeesman has served on the LACEF board of directors since 2007, most recently as president-elect, where he worked to drive awareness and expand the donor base in supporting the exceptional programs LACEF offers to disadvantaged youth in Los Angeles County.

“The work we do at LACEF has a tremendous impact on the lives of thousands of youth throughout Los Angeles County,” said Zeesman, founder and chief strategist of ZEESMAN. “I am honored at the trust this organization has placed in me and look forward to driving strategies and marketing programs that truly engage the audiences LACEF needs to reach in order to achieve our goal of providing educational opportunities to the youth of Los Angeles County.”

Zeesman works closely with organizations to define their long-term goals and create a workable roadmap for achieving sustained success through strategic application of marketing tools. He has worked with nonprofits including the W.M. Keck Foundation and the National Council of Jewish Women/Los Angeles.
